Re-design of standard car shifting system for competition purposes
Schoula, Šimon ; Dvořáček, Jiří (referee) ; Klapka, Milan (advisor)
This bachelor´s thesis is focused on construction design of sequence shifting mechanism for a specific type of car. First part of thesis is performed to research of the current state of knowledge. The second part is a detailed analysis of possible conceptual solutions depending on the design of the car. The last part describes the final design and its assessment.
Conversion of Manual Transmission Shift Mechanism
Vysloužil, Marek ; Blaťák, Ondřej (referee) ; Hejtmánek, Petr (advisor)
This bachelor’s thesis is dealing with the research of shifting mechanisms and with the designing of the conversation for the Škoda Octavia Combi RS II. generation vehicle, from standard shifting pattern to racing sequential shift system. It also describes designing procedure of an accurate model using the 3D scanner ATOS and designing of individual parts in Solidworks software. It presents simplified design of the reconstruction and strength analysis of selected component, based on the created model.
